Discussions will also cover potential joint production models, technology transfer opportunities, and industrial collaboration beyond existing programs. Additionally, TUSAŞ and Embraer are exploring cooperation on structural components for aircraft, while Brazil’s preference for the C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft is being evaluated within this framework.
This development marks a significant step for Turkey in opening a new geographic frontier for its defense exports and establishing long-term cooperation with an influential Latin American nation. Deepening technical and industrial ties between the two countries could enhance Turkey’s position in global defense markets while supporting Brazil’s efforts to strengthen its domestic defense capacity, contributing to regional balance.
