At the SAHA 2026 International Defence and Aerospace Exhibition, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Machinery and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE) and Hungary-based HT Division regarding the integration of MKE TOLGA Close Air Defense Systems onto the HT Division’s Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs).

Speaking at the signing ceremony, MKE General Manager İlhami Keleş shared the following remarks regarding the procurement of the TOLGA Close Air Defense System and the MoU signed with Hungary:

“Since the day we first unveiled it, the system has attracted significant attention thanks to its comprehensive concept and ability to provide a cost-effective solution against low-cost threats. Currently, a budget has already been allocated through the Defence Industry Executive Committee (SSİK) to meet the requirements of our Land, Air, and Naval Forces, and we are currently managing this process together with the Secretariat of Defence Industries.

At the same time, there is considerable interest from abroad as well. In this context, we are currently engaged with Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. Now, as a new step forward, we are adding another country to this list, Hungary.

However, Hungary also has a particularly valuable aspect for us. Our counterpart company there is actually a Turkish company. It is a Turkish firm established in Hungary and operating under the country’s commercial laws. Through cooperation with this company, we will jointly address the market by integrating TOLGA components and TOLGA turrets onto their Unmanned Ground Vehicles.”
