A delegation led by Queen Mathilde of Belgium, visiting Türkiye as part of the Belgian Economic Mission, paid a visit to the Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center — where Baykar develops and manufactures indigenous unmanned aerial vehicles. The delegation was hosted by Baykar Chairman and CTO Selçuk Bayraktar and CEO Haluk Bayraktar.
A delegation led by Queen Mathilde of Belgium, visiting Türkiye on an official visit as part of the Belgian Economic Mission, toured the Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center — where Baykar studies, develops, and produces indigenous unmanned aerial vehicles.

A Broad Delegation Under the Queen's Leadership
The delegation accompanying Queen Mathilde included Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxime Prévot; Minister of Defense Theo Francken, who is also responsible for foreign trade; Brussels Capital Region Minister-President Boris Dillies; Flemish Region Minister-President Matthias Diependaele; Walloon Region Deputy Minister-President Pierre-Yves Jeholet; Belgium's Ambassador to Türkiye Hendrik Van De Velde; government officials; diplomatic mission representatives; academics; private sector representatives; and journalists from the Belgian press.

The Delegation Inspects Indigineous UCAVS
Queen Mathilde and the accompanying delegation were hosted at the Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center by Baykar Chairman and CTO Selçuk Bayraktar and CEO Haluk Bayraktar. The visit was also attended by Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş and Defense Industry Agency (SSB) President Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün. The delegation reviewed Baykar's indigenous UCAV platforms — recognized for their achievements worldwide — and received a comprehensive briefing on the company's ongoing R&D and production activities.

The visit concluded with a group photograph taken before the Bayraktar AKINCI UCAV (Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle) on display at the Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center. As a memento of the occasion, Baykar Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar presented Queen Mathilde with a scale model of the Bayraktar KIZILELMA Unmanned Fighter Aircraft.
