This strategic agreement was signed between İbrahim Yarsan, Chairman of the Board of OSTİM Defense and Aviation Cluster (OSSA), and Felipe Carrasco, Deputy Minister of Industry and Government Secretary of the Valencia Government. The agreement aims to accelerate the integration of defense SMEs and prime contractors from both nations.

Under the signed protocols, the parties strongly emphasized their mutual intent to act jointly for two major upcoming defense and aerospace events. Accordingly, the first major outcome of this cooperation will be the "IDA Türkiye Defense and Aerospace Industrial Cooperation Days," to be held in Ankara on October 14-16, 2026. The second phase of this strategic partnership will continue with the "IDA Spain Defense and Aerospace Cooperation Days," to be held in Valencia on September 22-24, 2027.
